Modeling, selecting edges of irregular shape poly

Mga bossing patulong naman ako dito sa modeling specially sa pag gawa ng mga cornice mga irregular shape kasi sya karaniwan, tapos yung both end nya sharp yung mga corners pag lalagyan ko sya ng chamfer select ko yung mga edges diba? kaso irregular nga at napaka daming edge na kailangan i-select ang hirap, may paraan ba para i-select yung mga edges na ito, kasi yung loop hindi gumagana, duon lang sya applicable sa edges na nasa loob. - salamat'

you don't need to do that way. just create the profile and use sweep modifier, and or beveled profile modifier and or loop.
