thanks v_wrangler i agree... at first, i love the reflection with applied noise but when i read your comment i started to observe more and noticed the optical illusion it has created... i guess i have to lessen it a bit for i still love the imperfections of the reflection on the floor. glad you drop by... thanks again

The imperfections on surfaces, like glasses and tiles are necessary, but if they look too conspicous and too staged - they take away the realism.

One problem with the floor surface is that while there are bumps, the actual prints on the flooring isn't disturbed at all. That makes one feel like there is another glossy surface on top of the floor (like it's wet - but the bumps are too big to comprehend).

This is one of those, quite-difficult-to-explain-with-words-"something just ain't right" kind of a feeling..

you've got me on that one (another glossy surface on top) ... my floor material is really a blend material. i will surely take note of that and apply it in the other room I am currently working. To add to the "something just ain't right", it's the reflection of the large mirrored glass panel and panels within the same side at the second option that are really bugging me out but have to give it a go. thanks for your advice.

thanks bro kayang-kaya nyo rin 'to bro nagkataon lang bihira or hindi fanatic ang mga singaporean and your clients with this kind of works salamat sa compliment about the stair... nakailang model at options din gladly na-approved ng boss and will be more happy pag nagustuhan ng client.

Thanks bro. Almost 3 hours ang rendering time with 3500 x 1750 original output. walang proxy bro.
