PANNING

First topic message reminder :

Helo guys just like them i want to start a thread on panning.

here's mine taken at east coast park. i've used 50 mm lens in all the shot. just a practice and i guess i enjoyed doing it.

di ako masaya sa sharpness pero contribute ko na rin dito (buggy limousine):

tama si glen, magandang pagopraktisan ang vietnam when it comes to panning shots. I must say thanks to kumpareng pakunat for his simple tip. here are my tries..

sir nomer u hav all nice panning shots ang ga2nda lahat,,, hows d settings sir para masubukan ko minsan...

to bro. i will give most of the credit to pakunat. but let me jsut add some

1. Shutter Priority mode, (Manual pwede rin)

2. I will recommend to set the shutter speed to between 1/10 to 1/15 sec. With this setting, you will achieve "camera shake" which is your main motive in panning shots. Kapag mabilis yung shutter speed you will just freeze the action, pero kung mabagal naman the dergree of success in sharpenning the focus on the subject is lesser.

3: Set th camera to "Continuous Shoot" mode. Sa akin dito Burst mode ang tawag.. Kung baga tuloy tuloy yung shooting. My burst mode meron palagi akong tatlong shots. Minsan sa tatlo isa lang ang pwede. The degree of success is higher that just one shooting. Diba pareng pakunat?

4: Sa focus naman beofre shhoting ineestimate ko yung distansya ng metering ko... Arkitekto ka naman. sigurado ako na matatantya mo yan.

5. As the main subject is moving across your camera, quickly follow your subject and shoot (parnag baril yung continuos shooting nun. follow the subject as it moves. Sa "Continuous Shooting" mode, hold on to your shutter while moving your camera along with your main subject, making sure that the main subject is always moving in the middle of your viewfinder.

6. Yun na.. lastly panning needs a lot of practice and you will be considered lucky if you are able to get 5 good shots out of 20 tries.

Bago rin lang sa ganitong "Panning Effect"...i-share ko lang itong practice shot ko...medyo hindi po ako kuntento sa sharpness e, nahihirapan akong i-focus...

share ko lang din po ang 1st panning shot ko.. sensya na po dipa masyadong marunong,

galing naman po ang mga panning shot nyo..
