sir pakicheck nalang ulit yung settings..napansin ko kasi parang may kulang..
mapa-light or night mood sya.. di ko parin makita yung blending...
don't use too much pattern on the floor...masakit sa mata

Pa-comment sir..
--When modelling try not to cut corners (huwag ka mag shortcut) especially now in your early stages. Try to adapt a meticulous workflow with regards to modelling malaking part din kasi yan with achieving realism sa renders. Kaunting tyaga sir magbubunga naman yan in the future..
--With rendering try to get the final feel or look sa 3dsMax (or kung ano ginagamit mo) pa lang mismo. Don't half-bake your render & try to make "habol" sa PS. Post processing is there just to enhance, parang aid lang kung baga..
Keep it up..

>> napangiti po ako rito sir cloud 'bout sa comparison ninyo sa rendering at paluluto. straight forward but very true with regards in achieving fine works of art. now i'm learning. salamat po.
@johnolive>>> suggest lang po ako ha... there are times before na na fru-frustrate din ako sa output ng trabaho ko. but i guess, minsan hindi mo sya talaga makukuha ng isang baksakan lang. i mean, i have to learn it bit by bit ( a bit of detailed modelling, a bit of material testings, render settings.. and so forth). kung baga, beta testing muna lahat. then after you have more or less comprehend na yung theory and the testings... try to put it all together to work in harmony, say in a simple project. in that way, you really are setting a goal na makuha mo ang tamang timpla, ika nga ni sir cloud. there are countless ways to learn this. i'm also in the process. hope you'll find yours. cheers & keep it up!

Re: Living Area (My Second Post Prctice in Max}
With regards to Jpegs & PNGs, I'll have to disagree with sir Neil. This is as per rendering is concerned, ibang usapan na pag web images or for printed words & such mas okay prefer ng iba ang png.
Just to set it straight.
Thanks nga pala sir Aluagi sana po nakakatulong..

thanks again master cloud, yes every rendered that i have i save it to Png format and after photoshop retouching saka na ako mag Jpg. great help sir cloud as a beginner i learned much here,
Re: Living Area (My Second Post Prctice in Max}
@John, parehong importante yan, settings at output resolution. Sobrang baba pala.

Re: Living Area (My Second Post Prctice in Max}
Would you please post the max file if that is OK with you. I'd like to give pointers but it will be a lot easier to tinker with the max file and see where we could fix it.
Remember to never mix hi res/low res bitmaps as textures or even renderings. This is a give away to the believability of your scene.
Also, always and I mean always, highlight where your illumination comes from, is it from the natural lighting from the window openings or is it from the artificial lighting from the ceiling or both...
Test render your lighting using a global gray or white material first so you can see the effect your light positionings, if it looks OK, any color or mapped material in that light setup will definitely look good.
Screens like TVs or computer montiors act like light sources, so anything within its range will look brighter or illuminated - you seem to have missed that as well kaya it looks plastered in PS.

Thanks for Dropping by Master V Wrangler I will try to post my settings here tomorrow sir so that anyone else could figure out what i need to do with my settings, I'm quite learning step by step but whats on my mind is What the output that i have I feel happy and contented at first with it, never thinking that theres a lot error, mostly modeling, composition, lighting, mapping, texture, thanks a lot for all the information you shared for me sir.
Re: Living Area (My Second Post Prctice in Max}
in addition, you might as well check and set your monitor rgb's for proper color adjustments(my simple thought)
