Re: HERACLEUM By: Marcel Wanders
noticeably, i the interesting play of shadows there caught my eye.
and the chrome! [grrr! how does it feel to sit there?] harhar
bushes looks darn real and add life the scene, too....
- i think you need to widen the table top [+adequate knee space]
it'd be comfortable that way than leaning to the table.
- black circular side table looks flat
- what if you add light by the wine rack so we could see your lux collection?
- looks like you got purple bleed from some outdoor light
making the white part at the back a bit off... [or vice versa?]
- drop lights needs some sort of plate [dunno the exact term]
something that big would look proportional at the lounge area
- replacing it with 3 individual sleeker drop lights would look better
and perhaps you can get away with the pinlight. [or it'll look redundant]
- all look massive and heavy... except for that decorative lamp
- put some greens or sculpture on stand or something under the stairs
just to kind of mirror the "barky element" of your drop light perhaps.
angle points to that direction but the negative space doesnt work at all
- i dont get the sense of what the black strip at the back was all about
working area? or TV stand?
- and is that an aquarium but the bar? the only color in the house?
still, not bad at all!
[looks like another wall of comments there - apologies...]

Thanks man.
- i think you need to widen the table top [+adequate knee space]
it'd be comfortable that way than leaning to the table. -I'll check on that it already 700 depth maybe my accessories is out of scale.
- black circular side table looks flat. - Will try to improve next time.
- what if you add light by the wine rack so we could see your lux collection? - yeah your right thats a good idea.
- looks like you got purple bleed from some outdoor light - Yeah your right it can be fix by adding bitmap backround
making the white part at the back a bit off... [or vice versa?] - Sorry I dont get it
- drop lights needs some sort of plate [dunno the exact term] - Yeah right and thats noted
something that big would look proportional at the lounge area - Sorry I dont get it please elaborate.
- replacing it with 3 individual sleeker drop lights would look better
and perhaps you can get away with the pinlight. [or it'll look redundant] - Thats a good idea however its a client preference.
- all look massive and heavy... except for that decorative lamp - appreciate if any suggestions, tips, tricks, tutorials, that can help improve this?
- put some greens or sculpture on stand or something under the stairs
just to kind of mirror the "barky element" of your drop light perhaps.
angle points to that direction but the negative space doesnt work at all yeah man thats a good idea I should have put something.
- i dont get the sense of what the black strip at the back was all about
working area? or TV stand? - Thats a ledge with display and TV. Honestly I like the concept modern its for the young male client.
- and is that an aquarium but the bar? the only color in the house? - hahaha it should be a tv wrong image sorry for that.
still, not bad at all!
[looks like another wall of comments there - apologies...] - No worries man as long as it make sense I should be thankful for it. That way I could improve myself. -Cheers

[quote="reygerali"] I'll check on that it already 700 depth maybe my accessories is out of scale.
looking at the sides of the table, the top looks aligned at the base. [no legde]
- looks like you got purple bleed from some outdoor light Yeah your right it can be fix by adding bitmap backround
making the white part at the back a bit off... [or vice versa?] Sorry I dont get it
actually i like it coz it shows your artistic sense [dramatic as the other fellow said - for museum type!]
but i just dunno what feels wierd about it...jus A BIT weird with the white wall...still, i like it [labo ko...]
- drop lights needs some sort of plate [dunno the exact term] Yeah right and thats noted

all comments regarding decorative lamp: i find it out of place...
when i said "proportional" i meant that it should jive in with the
size of the pieces of furniture along with it and the area it illuminates
putting it at the bar area looks off coz you got rather long linear table...
for me, it'll look balance and proportional if you could relocate it
either at the area of the L-shape sofa or at the mid of two lounge.
- all look massive and heavy... except for that decorative lamp appreciate if any suggestions, tips, tricks, tutorials, that can help improve this?
- put some greens or sculpture on stand or something under the stairs

angle points to that direction but the negative space doesnt work at all yeah man thats a good idea I should have put something.
i didnt find anything wrong with massive and heavy.... [just additional accessories]
coz i thought that if you'll intro a delicate light fixture like that amongst the heavy ones
it'll show cohesiveness, when you somehow mirror an element of that some place else
lightfixture + [i dunno] human sculpture or something [have you seen Cacnio's?] - like that.
also, some sees greens as the new neutrals...it adds life to the monotony of b&w
- i dont get the sense of what the black strip at the back was all about
working area? or TV stand? Thats a ledge with display and TV. Honestly I like the concept modern its for the young male client.
- and is that an aquarium but the bar? the only color in the house? hahaha it should be a tv wrong image sorry for that.
yeah i like the concept, as well, however some things don't look functional....
man, if that's how he watch tv, i might think the client grew up a bit selfish...
he got a big space and this big lounge area for - how many? - family of eight?
wouldnt it seem more practical if all got a fair share of the view of the shows?
normally, i see the tellys right at the center rather than placing it at the sides.
when he opt for a real widescreen LCD, i think that'd give him more than enough
and he'd also lessen his carbon footprint if you take the extra out of the bar area.
also, additional chrome stuff at the sofa area could to sparkle to it....
[i find half of the scene looks lonely] ehe
sorry for the confusion... meeting ajourne! hope tis a lot clear now...

Re: HERACLEUM By: Marcel Wanders
Thanks once again Sir, you have a point.
However not all clients have the same ideas for thier house.
Sorry to disappoint you im only visualizing base of thier inputs.
But I really appreciate your ideas. Its true and practical though.
Hope to learn from you again.
Cheers

yeah, man.... i believe so. what you said hits home!
"clients are always right even tho they're wrong" LOL
yet whether or not stuff eventually went out good or bad,
the fact of life is everything just reflect on us, designers,
as good if good and bad if suddenly bad. [gee, what a life!]
don't worry about me.nada got me disappointed really...
his home, your work - nothing really belongs to me....
it's just when things don't seem normal in one's eyes,
it comes natural to wonder and get interested to know
how and why the rest of artistic folks across the globe
visualize their home the way do....[like exploring cultures]
hope for a happy clients and happy visualizer at the end!
again nice "drama" in rendering... [what i remember most]
ENCORE, dude!
