Re: the Badjao escape
Nice Concept! Nice structure!
Wala naman bagyo sa Sulu sea ah?
Of course his structure will be structurally strong and fit for this situation. Don't judge by it's looks, bacause looks may deceive you, and you don't see the structural design and computation... It's sleek looking and it's part of the design...
AFAIK Badjao's live in a hut on bamboo stilts, and i don't see them destroyed just by waves...

Sir di nga madalas binabagyo sa Sulu kc dun ako lumaki, pero pag malakas ang hampas ng alon, I am sure iiwanan mo ang bhay mo sa dis oras ng gabi pag umaalog. I experience it, and we don't want our client to experience either.
Don't decieve by it's looks??? sa tingin pa lang yung poste at beam hindi matibay kaya nga sina suggest na mag cross bracing kahit tinggnan mo ma pa ang mga bahay sa tabing dagat sa sulu me cross bracing din.
pag matibay ang ganitong on stilt na column I am sure super yaman ang me ari nito kc meron superboat na yate.

@i3dness:
unless you dont see the the structural design and computation you wont be able to tell kung matibay o hindi, what's your basis?
Inassume mo lng na di kakayanin? Si madam auring lng gumagawa nun, hula-hula lng wala namang basehan, mali tuloy ang hula...
For the past 20 yrs structural technology has grown so much, anything is possible as long you can afford it.
And i see no problem on this one, though its only conceptual but the pssibility is not too far out.

Re: the Badjao escape
ok lang kahit archexterior pero sana you exert more effort sa lighting since that's your part on this scene... practice lang ng practice makukuha mo rin yan if not for the title i can't connect your scene to badjao.

No biggie. Just put a better title to it like(my take on badjao stilt housing based from arhexterior 3-9 or something). keep up bro!

this is the problem with you, the thing is you don't want to accept suggestions and constructive criticism. and the other thing you didn't mention at first that you took only that model from evermotion and you didn't mention you really design that originally. that's why I commented only structuraly, what was wrong with that?

yes I agree with this comment.
Re: the Badjao escape
great design! Though thicken those support pillars a little. The mentioned cross bracing will also add to the aesthetics of the structure. Great job po sir!

Re: the Badjao escape
@ jay jay - sir pwedeng paki edit mo ang title mo, and paki indicate kung ano talaga ginawa mo dito, like kung pinalitan mo lang ang texture or may modification sa model, everyone is thinking kasi na you design this house for the badjao's,

Oooopssss!... you DON'T pay attention that's why!... it's not my thread!
Di ko po thread ito, sabi ng wag manghula e... mali ka tuloy...
that's the perfect example kung nanghula-hula ka lang and not being objective! and thats my very point!
Again i would argue with your structural comment, it's all "hula" ...
You don't have basis, your argument has nothing to hold on to...
Let's be objective here... WAG mag assume... or else di ka paniniwalaan...
Unless you tell me na you have a superpower, a "beautiful mind" or maybe an xray vision or something and you can see thru those columns... and i would understand you why...
