HOW TO USE BATZAL ROOF FOR SU COMPLETE TUTORIAL

HI GUYS! I WOULD LIKE TO SHARE MY FIRST V-RAY FOR SKETCH UP TUTORIAL.. PLEASE LEAVE SOME COMMENTS , FEEDBACK'S OR SUGGESTIONS... THANKS! -ARCHIE D. ROSCOM

I'M USING SKETCH UP 8 FREE VERSION, V-RAY 1.49.01, 3D MAX 2011 X64bit, and FBX 2012.01..

IMPORTANT: THIS IS THE MOST RELIABLE SETTINGS FOR ME >I USED RING FOR MESH COVER AND SHINGLE SHIN 1 WITH THE HEIGHT OF .004m, AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE DON'T INCREASE THE SEGMENT.. I ENCOUNTERED AN ERROR WHEN I INCREASED IT AND USED THE OTHER TYPE OF SHINGLES... AFTER IMPORTING THE .3DS FILE ON SKETCH UP MAKE SURE TO REPLACE ITS DEFAULT MATERIAL WHICH IS MATERIAL_1 OR ELSE IT WON'T RENDER BECAUSE V-RAY WON'T RECOGNIZE IT.

I GOT THIS ERROR ON MY VFS_STDERR NOTEPAD -->
Exception: In __handleReferencedPlugin could not find /material_1

ERROR LOG IS LOCATED IN THESE DIRECTORIES:

XP:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ASGVIS\VfS\vfs_stderr.txt

Vista and Win7:
C:\ProgramData\ASGVIS\VfS\vfs_stderr.txt

OS X:
/tmp/vfs_stderr.txt

ok sir, baka may mas madali na paraan specially ung sa 3d max na part at baka pwede ma export ung buong roof galing sa 3d max using another file format or converter .. w8 ko ang tutorial mo sir.. ty

Gooafternoon..wala bang ibang paraan na di na ppunta pa sa 3dmax para gumamit ng batzal roof..wala bang pwedeng iD.L na Roof?

puedi naman sir...
if you are using the pro version of SU and higher version of Max, you can just import the raw SU files..

thanks sir.. sa wakas pwde rin, natry ko na sya.. pero may problema po ako sa paggawa ng gutter eh..hindi sya ngiintersect.. bevel profile ba ginagawa mo?

do it before bevel profile.. select the the edges at that corner then weld

ok na po.. salamat,. naweld ko na po vertices tapos bevel profile.. pero bakit po ganun, baliktad naman?






okay na po pala kaso ginamitan ko ng script na sweep profile..
