W00t! Punong puno ang reel ni Sir Dickie ah...daming maganda Lahat po yun ginawa niyo singlehandedly? Dami niyo na palang nagawa soobraa @_@ hahah..Gusto ko makita yung buong sequence nung shark, doon nacatch yung attention ko.

(buti na lang sandali lang yung shot nung worm sa may leaf, nagulat ako eh xD)

Great reel! I enjoyed watching it. It show's that you're a generalist and well versed at it! I really like the environments (what did you use?) and also the liquid dynamics. For the VFX segments, maybe a breakdown of the different passes that were rendered would look nice?

It's also a very good idea to put your best work in the begining of the reel, alot of times, employers are looking through stacks and stacks of demo reels and don't have enought time to go through the whole thing...having your best pieces in the begining will keep them interested.

One more comment...it's great that you also labeled what is being shown. Good luck with it!!!

Dicki, I'll applaud you for the commercials cause they are kind of cute but I'm sure that with a bit more tinkering - you could always raise the bar.

I'll be very honest but in general, the reel looks well - four or more years old. It does not give justice to what you could do now.

If I was a prospective client - I won't hire you based on what I saw. Its amateurish. Tulad ng sabi mo, 4 or more years ago. Guys, when you make reels - put your best work on top. Clients do not care if you learned realflow in one week or three days - all they care about is how you end up doing the shot!

There's more I can think of but I'm sure you'll say you won't work on it anymore cause its a done work already! And it will just piss me off to think that people would have to comment and get nothing!

Seriously now - I know you can do more now so use your demo as a look in the past but not for the future. For your future is a lot even brighter!

yeah, one man army at multi-task program ako
i can make my way to different 3d for as long it requires...
but LW is my main 3d arsenal and 3ds follows for interior setup
the VFX was my GMA7 sunday program days.. hired me as head team.

and looking forward for future venture...

pinakita ko lang what im capable of...
and now 3ds comes along the way...
