AutocadArchitecture Layering
Workflow: Autocad Architecture
Hi everyone and mga Master's, I dont have any idea to make this window into a separate layer (right now its only 1 layer).
Output must be like this.
Window Glass-layer 1
Window Framing-layer 2
Thanks to all

Re: AutocadArchitecture Layering
kung naka block yan, then you will have to open the block and set the layers of the objects there. Based kasi sa screenshot mo, block object sya.
You can set that by issuing a refedit command. Ito gamit ko kasi, or just double click on the block. And the block editor will be opened.

@arkiedmund,
thanks boss mund.
If i'll open the block it looks like this, still 1 layer and still as a block.

Re: AutocadArchitecture Layering
AEC object ba siya? i'm not really familiar with how Autocad architecture works. If yes, then there has got to be a parameter for that somewhere, just like the old ADT. Although i am not quite sure about that either.

Ok, the refedit works with refclose and adding layer is already made.,but if its been laythw the whole object will disappear.

@cloud20
Hi Sir cloud ,thanks for dropping by.
Cause last time i dont know the location of windows properties and
i want to make some changes with the layering name.
like: instead of glass= window glass
sash= window sash
but for the main window layer its only A-Glaz (no exact description)

Re: AutocadArchitecture Layering
Ah. There there's no need to layer them then. Marerecognize na ng Max na seperate components yan kahit na hindi mo na iseperate layer. Just drag your material to the frame then frame lang malalagyan ng material. Same process with the infill or glass. Extra work pa kung ile-layer mo pa sa cad yan. Same din sa adt doors yan sir; may frame, stop, chaka yung door mismo.
