"Slow viewport navigation"
First topic message reminder :
I hope someone can help me with this problem.
I recently installed win7 64 bit on my PC.
Added an 8gig RAM and 500gig HD.
Installed 3dsmax2010 64 bit.
The problem is that the navigation in viewport is very slow.
And sometimes firing up the Material editor and render dialog box takes some time.
What do you think should I do because it really pisses me off.
Mas OK pa yung Windows XP 32 bit na gamit ko noon mabilis ang response.
TIA.

Re: "Slow viewport navigation"
Sir , Update your drivers, never use the drivers pre installed by Windows 7 as much as possible.
Try to switch also sa Open GL or DirectX 3D if maka solve ng problems. Again sir advice to use 2011 or 2012 rather than 2010 which is a bit buggy. Hope naka help ..

Re: "Slow viewport navigation"
Try Pressing letter O.
or go to > Views > Adaptive Degradation.
Adaptive degradation can improve viewport performance when you transform geometry,
change the view, or play back an animation. It does so by decreasing the visual
fidelity of certain objects temporarily; for example, by drawing larger objects
or those closer to the camera as bounding boxes instead of wireframes.
Normally I turn OFF my windows visual styles and set to "Adjust to best performance".
To do so:
Hold press Windows Logo + Pause Break >
Advanced system settings > Performance > Settings >
click Adjust for best performance. OK.
Hope that helps your navigation.

I'm planning to buy the nvidia gtx 460 1 gig or the 2 gig, kase konti lang difference sa price. Any idea kung ok na to?
Or yung SP1 lang talaga solve na?
pasawsaw po mga master.hehe instead of buying 2 gb gtx460 mag 560ti nalang po kayo.(or higher vc) matakaw na po sa kuryente ang naka sli na gtx460. the price of 2 gtx460 halos same lang sila ng gtx570 ang mas matipid pa po sa kuryente at di hamak na mabilis.
(ano po pala cpu at psu niyo master? baka po kasi mabottleneck.hehe)
yung 560ti nvidia rin ba?
not sure kung naka SLI ako eh. not an expert sa pc.
mababa lang ang cpu ko, core 2 duo lang eh. kaya nga ang concern ko rin malakas nga ang VC at mataas ang RAM eh kung core 2 duo lang cpu worth it bang bumili ng mataas na VC?
please advise dude. ty
hmmm. kahit ano pong vc pwede po. pero ang masusuggest ko is 1gb gtx 460. pero bago po ang lahat check muna ang psu at mobo baka di compatible or pumutok.

Re: "Slow viewport navigation"
sir torvics try mo i-disable ung windows aero theme at ibalik ang classic theme. sa VC naman, go for gtx 550ti or 480 kung kaya.
