Help po mga master! 1gig file

mga master ano kayang nangyari sa max file ko simple scene of a kitchen pero ang laki ng file. nag save as na ako and optimise na rin pero ganon pa din.

Ser baka naman ang laki ng files mo sa materials...paki check mo, atleast 1mb lang each....

salamat sir 3dzone na check ko n din sir. huhuhuhu nag umpisa lang sir noong ang import ako ng blinds na dati ko ng ginagamit. na delete ko ng ang blinds ganon pa din sir. na try ko ng din sir na enable proxy pero same pa din. na try ko ng ding i merge sa new file and save ko ng new file ganon pa din. nag save selected ako ng sinkMIXER malaki din ang file.

sa ngayon sir nag model n lang ako ng bago start from zero. gusto ko lang malamn kung anong nangyari sa file ko.

minsan dahil sa mga helpers yan sir, hit H in your keyboard tapos hanapin mo yung helper na nag sisimula sa word na particle tapos delete mo.

Try mo dude mag merge isa isa ng object, tapos i-check mo kung lumalaki yung file. From there malalaman mo kung anong object ang nagco-cause nito.
Wag mong i-merge ng isahan lang.....
Mag start ka sa geometry lang muna.

Minsan din yung mismong CADD drawings nakakadagdag din ng laki ng file eh.
Delete mo na lahat yun pagkatapos mong gamitin as reference.

Theres a script in the free section ( I think ) that cleans up your file; made by one of the members here. Please pardon my memory, darn old age...

Same thing just happened to my file yesterday. Can't figure out what is the culprit. It was an old file done months ago.

Solution: I start from zero. Fortunately, it was not a huge scene and good thing I hit the deadline.

I will try that script for sometime if it works.

Most probably because of ff:

1. mesh interpolation
2. imported CAD lines
3. hidden objects

I can see your sinkMIXER.max is already 1gig.
Try to optimize you sink though you dont need to much polygons on that.
Unless otherwise you want to zoom in that part.

Your texture doesn't affect much on your file size.
But affects a lot on your viewport.
It was not save inside your max file, Instead
all textures are link to your maps folder.
