GRASS_TUTORIAL...

First topic message reminder :

here's my tutorial on how to make the grass or even carpet looks uneven/ripple using bump and displacement and noise adjustments.

im using the 1.48.91 version...i kinda feel lost cause im such a bloody beginner with this ...but i downloaded ur .vismat..it this the setting for the grass-carpet?

i use 1.49.84 version...you can check also my vismat material for higher version...

reapply the grass material and bump...check - HERE

hmm..all settings are the same...and i cannot use ur .vismat..ill get an alert that a .dll is missing -.-...damn i hate my pc...ill try it again..but thanks for your help

maybe there's something wrong in vray...try to reinstall again.

found the right .dll on the internet..some vray users had the same problem..just had to replace it...but the grass still not work..damn

EDIT started a new file without any settings and this is what happend to my grass...i followed again every pic of ur tutorial^^

can you share your render iamge and setting here just to check what happen.

ok dont know WHAT happend but it works now after my 29347 try with the same settings...anyways...sry for "spamming" ^^and great tutorial


edit ok i made a new file...my gras looks now like urs..but when i switch to my project file i take the same setting and it looks like nothing happens...could it be that my normal options "block" this gras?

i think you forgot to group the selected material with grass...or its better to copy and paste it to your project.

i almost sent u a pm but...it works with this group thing...omg...i was so frustrated the whole last day and now its just one click...damn xD...

pwede paki post mo ang model na ginawa mo or try to gropu the model saka mo apply ang grass.

you mean mapping ba? kung ano yong projected mo sa view yon na ang lalabas sa render mo. try mo muna sa maliit na area bago mo apply sa malaking area.
