Competition #6: CGP Logo Art Contest

First topic message reminder :

The idea is to design over our logo and have fun! The best design will be printed in the limited edition CGP Shirt.

Simple Rules:
1. You can do it in 2d, 3d, or any mix.
2. Any design will do and is encouraged.
3. You may use any color.
4. You can do it in any size as long as it will look good when printed.
5. It could be framed in a box or any shape as long as it will look good when printed on a shirt or other items.
6. You can modify the logo as long as the context remains the same.
7. Winning entry will be further modified to fit the final design.

Deadline is June 4, 2011. Enjoy!

Prizes:
1st Prize: Prints of his/her design, Pen Tablet.
Consolation prize: A print of his/her design and the winning design.

Entry 7 - Haha, it's the most cheesy design I ever made. Saling pusa nalang ito para pangpadagdag ng entries. Ginawa ko ng Raster Graphic since wala namang particular na dapat vector. Siguro pwede na to sa Digital print.

I tried removing the hands before but the image is a bit silhouette, kaya it appear na hindi mukhang polo ang inaalis. Kaya maintain ko nalang sya. Yung image kasi galing kay Superman poster. So parang you are trying to show to the people na under you shirt is your true Identity na your Super Dedicated member ng CGPinoy community.

Anywayz, saling pusa lang ito. Kaya pag pasensyahan nyo if ito lang nagawa kong pahabol, mas mabilis kasi gumawa sa Photoshop image editing, kesa sa Illustrator ng vector design, since they did'nt set any limitation of using design sa shirt.

pahabol din mga kapatid..sana magustuhan nyo,pasensya na..material editor ang concept ko heheheoptional label at the back

This one looks promising. It contains almost all the needed info in a very straightforward approach. All the important elements are easily recognizable at a glance. Meron syang personality. The humble circle/sphere as one of the basic geometrical shapes used by architects and artists alike.The compact circular/spherical design could represent several things- CGPinoy as a "circle" (group) of Filipino CG Artists or the "world" of CGPinoys. Also, an effective logo is adaptive and visually arresting. It should look good in 3D, the web, black and white print, in big or small versions- your logo passes all these requirements.

Medyo limiting yung tea pot na design. Sana paubrahin nila ito.

Option:
Instead of duplicating cgpinoy tapos nakabaligtad sya sa ilalim, You can just replace it with the web address: www.cgpinoy.org. facing upwards, na smaller pero may medium thickness na font, para kumpleto na talaga info. Suggestion lang ito, or you can try something else.
