Hope you can help me Guys with this 3d max problem .. its very urgent please

Here is the problem:

I am using 3dmax 2009 with vray and acad 2011
i dont know what happened but since the other day all files imported from autocad and rendered in 3d max with vray doesnt render well it computes but its been hours and still it hasnt started computing the light cache.
here's the catch if i open a previously accomplished project even if its around 80mb eh well it renders and and works fine.

i just dont know what to do.. i have deadlines to beat for tom. Hope someone can help me figure this out.

sir try compress save go to customize>> preferences>> file>> click the compress on save yung 80mb mo maleless masyado mabigat depende rin kasi yan sa memory yan sir eh

i mean sir ung file eh 27mb n lng eh... pero ganun pa rin katagal.
d ko na nga alam panu gagawin d2.... pro last wk nmn pag ganun lang size eh usually mabilis lang marender.

baka sa settings mo sir post ka ng screenshot ng settings mo sir

ang weird kasi is pag ung lumang projects ko ung nirender ko eh ok nmn nag rerender.... eh sinubukan ko na rin na same project then delete ko lng geometry then import ko ung cad file then lagay ng items... pag render ko aun sobranf tagal na naman eh considering na same settings lang nung 80mb na nagrerender eh ung file ko na gngawa 15mb lang.....

baka naman yung ginagamit mong vray version sir anong version ba ng vray ang gamit mo sa dati mong old projects at yung vray na ginagamit mo ngaun minsan doon nagkakaroon ng conflict sa version ng vray tapos lahat ng settings mo mababago yun pati setting ng ilaw at camera tingnan mo rin settings ng camera mo sir o kaya yun mga pagproxy mo my sablay try mo na magmerge sir?

sir my isa pa solusyon baka yung materials mo kahit nakarchive ka kailangan ipath mo pa rin siya using asset tracking kaya at yung settings ng ng vray mo kahit nakasave yan kapag ginamit mo sa ibang file nagbabago yung settings ng camera kahit parehas pa ng version ng vray ang gamit mo kaya yun maaaring nagcacrash o hindi nagrerender check your materials try mo lang sir hope it helps

troubleshoot for:
1- GI
2- material: refln/refract/subdiv
3- lights: subdiv/shadow
4- objects/polycounts

try mo muna item-1: render w/ default vray mat'l override, off GI, off lights, off environment. (delete layout plan from autocad esp with ellipses.). bumilis ba?
