3D Generalist needed- Modelling, rigging, lighting, animation
Hi,
I'm new in town, Director/ Creative Producer, looking to seal the deal
on a Medical Product video, :30 of animation. Medical products, three
models, one animated (non-character). Video for conference demo/
launch. High end delivery, 2K res, color matched product.
What I need: an experienced, freelance, self-starter 3D Generalist, pref
with film/ broadcast animation background. Work experience should
reflect solid modelling, rigging (for animation), texturing, lighting and
rendering. Software preferred is Autodesk Maya. Final delivery of 2K
res uncompressed animation Quicktime for editorial.
Deadline is tight, with a 3-4 week turnaround, complete. Approval
process needs to be strictly adhered to, with client approvals. Concept
art, storyboards, etc will be provided. Director/ creative producer is
hands-on, and will be inconstant contact as per updates. Schedule is
key; no drop-outs, missed days, etc can be tolerated in schedule; Too
tight for a trip to the province, midway...
not looking for 24/7, just a solid effort for the time we have.
Start is in early April, deliver in second week of May, 2011
If you're experienced, professional, deadline driven, possess solid 3D
skills all around, can light as well as model with a solid online reel
and resume with professional referrals, send me your stuff!
Director is English speaker only, North American and with long industry
experience, friendly, professional, lots of animation experience, knows what he wants.
Please include salary/ wage requirements & availibility. Please, no part-timers or moonlighting if at all possible. May make an exception if the scenario warrants... Artist will be required to work remotely/ from home or office, using own gear and licenses. Secure FTP or alternate means of transferring files to office will be necessary. We will supply a hard drive. media for file transfer. Finals will need to be delivered on hard drive. Final format to be determined. Resolution is currently expected at 2K, may be lower.
