bakit nwawala ung textures sa proxy?
mga masters, bkt po ba nwawala minsan ung mga textures pag ecconvert ung 3d object into proxy?example sa mga trees and planters,,,ano po ba secreto para hnd mawawala? salamt po....

sir share ko lang alm ko, ksi nagawa ko na din ok nmn gnito po ung prseso ko boss, since na may model na po at may materials sub object na i mean converted na as 1 file or object ang ginagawa ko po sinisave ko sa material, bale po punta ka sa Material/map Browser browse from selected den save as mo sir sa libraries den title den save, proxy mo na ung object tpos ung material na sinave mo sa libraries un ang gagamitin mo sir,sana naktulong po kung ano po ung sa multi mo un ang lalabas lahat na material mo sir un lang po skin sir kung may mas magandang proseso pa po jan at mas madli pa,pashare nalng din po mga master and mga members jan GODBLESS

What I understand is covert it first in a single polygon- and take note of the material ID, so that when you will have your Multi-Sub material it would match after it is converted to vraymesh.

Kaya nawala yung material siguro is because you grouped it instead of attaching the objects to one another. Nangyari na rin yan dati sakin hence, trial & error. Pero there are tricks din sa pag attach ng object sa isat isa, watch out your memory din. Like for example attaching tree objects into one object, minsan sa bigat nung puno, lalo na yung may 3 object na model, pag attach mo na sa ikatlong object, mag crash ka na, coz memory ran out. So what I do is when I see my ram is dropping, before attaching a third object or so, I save it then re-open it, that way your ram will get back to its heel so to speak.
Pag may spare time ka, i-proxy mo na lahat ng blocks mo basta in tact lang ang materials mo, para salpak ka na lang ng salpak.

yung mga pre-modeled trees, usually kasama na rin mtl's nyan diba? and u can find them individually sa "Mtl Editor", but sometimes you need to check kung yung mga maps nya is properly linked to the folders where it's map are saved... (pwedeng ito yung problema...)
Anyway share ko na rin process ko:
1. First, i attached all elements/objects in this case, yung roots, trunks, branches leaves etc...
2. After you finish attaching, go to mtl editor, select an empty mtl map slot, Then use "Pick Material from Object" and pick the object (tree) presto! may "multi-sub object" mtl kana... rename it...
3. In saving the mtl, make sure the object is selected, and at the mtl editor, click the multi-sub object mtl youve just created, hit "VRayMtl" button, at browse from: choose "Selected" then Save as....
feedback ka ser kung ok na or u kung may problema pa...

sir jarul nangyari na sa akin yan dati pero i found a solution, una sir kelangan add mo ang maps nya sa "configure user paths-external files" then pag na add na ang maps, icocombine mo na sya or pag i-aattache mo sya choose "match material ids to material" then ang huli is pag icoconvert na sa proxy since nka combine na sya as 1 object choose "export each obj into separate file"
