Housing Technologies

I am a student at UST and we were tasked by our professor to list three modern housing technologies, how does it work, who is the inventor/designer/initiator, where is it applied, how much will it cost and others.

So far, I thought Housing Technology refers to condominiums, townhouses and apartments then eventually I realized that it existed decades ago. After that, I stumbled upon recycled houses, vulnerability reduction housing, earthquake-resistant housing and others but the information aren't sufficient enough especially the founder/creator/designer.

I went to basics again and found something on National Housing Authority. There was a list of Accredited Technologies under Housing Technology here in the Philippines but materials are only listed and it is applicable in most of the countries

Now I am really confused what are the modern Housing Technologies. Help please

Books aren't helpful and even google is not cooperating well so I decided to take opinions or preferably knowledge from experienced architects so I can make deduction on what Housing Technology really is.

3. steel decking system (alternative to steel)

4. kit house (parang lego system na nabibili then assemble)

5. Le Corbusier (father of modern architecture. Siya nagpauso ng modular system)

Thank you sir bokkins. I also thought that it was Building Technology but I was mistaken since our subject is all about housing.

This will help me too in other ways

1. solar tube lighting/ Kevlar fallout shelter/ insulated concrete form / etc
-i saw this in a episode in "build it bigger" in discovery channel. Ang episode title niya ay "Building hurricane proof homes in Mississippi". Sigurado akong pasok na pasok ito sa modern tech. na assignment mo.

2. Solid concrete walls

3. c-purlin channel for truss/ load bearing walls/ continuous wall footing/ t-joist slab/ stampcrete (LOW COST HOUSING)
-Wayback in 2007, i work in low cost housing real estate. Yan ang mga building tech/materials na gamit ng opisina namin. Although yung iba eh medyo lumang building tech. na,,, cost efficient pa din sila at ginagamit pa din hangang ngayon.

I found PALLET HOUSING SYSTEM and found out it is a latest housing system but same as the others, the inventor is nowhere to be found. Same as TRIANGULAR HOUSING SYSTEM

Meron phoenix system. High-speed assembly. Slab footing ang gamit tapos may steel framing at mga concrete shell.

Meron din yung sandbags housing. gamit ito ni iliac diaz sa Philippines.

Hindi ko pa din clear kung tama tong mga suggestions ko. Check mo tong sa archdaily...

@LOOKER, Yes it is and that is a downside of that technology but it is not used in housing but in individual projects only

Container Housing i-consider mo din. If I have the money, I'll invest on that, which is very soon now. It's cheap and durable if used for mass housing.
