we regularly chat at umiiyak talaga cya sa mga past na nanlalait sa kanya at sa kanyang mga obra
he also disclosed with me the names na umapi at nagdown sa kanya knowing ganyan ang kanyang condition....

i also tried to convience him to join cgp community nor at least register his name
and observe the new community para makilala ang members natin thru reading and posting replies....

Welcome Ron. I'd like to make this thread a little different and I ask Ron to forgive my straightforwardness. Guys, lets save our ass kissing, patronizing, kind of sweet talkies somewhere else. Treat Ron's work like your next door forum member. If its bad - say it loud but say why and offer ways how you think it could be even better, if its good, say it loud as well. Ron's situation is just a little different from each one of us, our 100 % perseverance is perhaps 200% or 300% for Ron - but he is an artist just like you and me - and the audience does not care whether you are a Ron, a Vertex or an Arkiemund. The work will always speaks for itself. In short - treat him no different. I bet Ron will like that better.

So I offer Ron my honesty, my frankness and my unending support (minus the ass-kissing of course!) and I invite you all to do the same. Take Ron as an inspiration, if he can do it - so can you. That what Ron means to me.

my sentiments exactly... i think ron wants to be treated as an equal; not as a special case... babying him wont help at all... we dont want to remind him of his uncomfortable (for lack of a better word) situation... focus on the body of work, not on personalities... peace...
