CANON 1000D
Hi Guys,
I've read reviews about Canon 1000d. It is a good camera for new user & amatuers.
I am eager to buy that camera in few days 'cause it offers 18-55mm + 70 - 300mm lense + 4Gb sd card equivalent to Php28,000.00. My Budget is around that Price. Anything that is above 30k will be expensive for me.
Is it worth at this time? Maybe Canon will change their dlsr entry level model.
I'm really decided to buy but I hope I wont regret it. Please advise.
Thanks:)

You won't have any regrets bro. Perfect with 2 lenses. Pag nagsawa ka na, add ka ng 3rd lens. 50mm f1.8 worth 4,200. Ok na lahat yun. Next upgrade would be flash pro kahit after a year na. Good luck!

Thanks Bro.,
I really thought about it. 500d o 550d, I know they are better camera. Actually, Im really new.
Pag aralan ko mga tamang exposures, aperture, shutter speed and so on..
Medyo atat na talaga me. Kaya looks like I go for the budget.
Bukas na ako bibili. But your advise really help.
Sana manalo lotto.

Thanks bokkins,
I find your advise practical. Siguro nga this 1000d is the camera for me this time.
I have a compact camera but find very slow to catch special moments. Specially for my daugther who is 2 years old.
She always run & smile.
I like outdoor too. The zoom lense package would help me to take shots for fast action scenes.
I am saving also for the Travel.
I think this 1000d is the one for me. The offer is brand new photo kit. I could buy accessories & gears for the remaining budget or savings. Filters, Travel Bag, etc. (Mahilig din ako kasi mag calculate) hehehe..
Nice advise.

Re: CANON 1000D
Bro bawal ang text speak, please iwasan lang natin. Nasa forum rules yan.
Anyway, I have a 450d, may girlfriend has the 1000d, I found no difference between the 2.
But if you want to use the video option, 500d at 550d nga are better. Pro siguro sa next mo na na upgrade. Kasi you can still use the lenses, body nalang ang bilhin mo pag may budget na.
Ang isa pang nakita kong sulit dito is the 70-300mm extra lens. It cost around 9k if bought separately kaya sulit yan. Enjoy.

Re: CANON 1000D
ok naman ang 1000d for a beginner kung gagamitin mo lng pang-hobby mo. sulit na rin kasi coz of its offer na 2 lenses.
pwede rin kasi na you start sa entry level then you slowly upgrade since yun pa kaya ng budget mo. ^_^..

Thanks for the reminder & recommendation for E50mm too.
I go other website try to learn what kind of shots I like.
Yes, I classic portraite. This is a best buyed lense.
I can't wait, I may include this when I purchase for my first dSLR camera.

I bought already the 1000d photo kit.
The telephoto lense included is EF 75-300mm f/4.5 - 5.6 , non USM
I start learning from this camera.
