import to 3d max vray from sketchup pro

Hi All, Im iqbal, a new bie using 3d max having some problem after import my 3d model from sketchup to 3d Max... but, after i import my 3ds model in max..
im having problem like :
- i cant zoom the model so close to do the model editing
- i cant edit the model because in a group...but before import, i not group the model..
- how to i setting the material that from sketchup in my 3d model , after i import the model in 3d max...
really need ur help...please...

check nyu lang po yung unit nyu sa max.. kung ano po unit nyu sa SU ganun din po dapat sa 3dmax...

can u write in english language? i dont know what u write above...

why dont you use max 2011. you can just open skp file directly.

here's my work flow,

in sketchup..
layer everything in your model.for ex. glass,wall,grass.etc

-when done layering, export your 3dmodel as cad file (.dwg)..

in 3dsmax
-then import the model in 3dsmax using file link, dont forget to rescale.
