Interior Setup Help

First topic message reminder :

need help po on my settings

this is taking long hours of render time with more than 20 lights on the scene. all subdivs were set to default and materials were set to minimum. more than 12 hours of render time po on a 2k res. My rig is core i7 930 @ 3.8 ghz and 12 gb ram. normal po ba yun? Please help.. thanks..

hi . i was looking at your wireframe. may vray light po kayo sa windows and may lights din kayo sa loob ng interior. if you are rendering a day light scene. siguro ok lang kung tanggalinm mo nalang din yung ibang ilaw sa loob. try mo po bawasan lights sa pinlight and sa linear fluorescent lights. hope this will help.

sir reeze... ok naman ung render setup mo... ung noise threshold lng ang medyo baguhin mo... ok na yung .01.. tapos tanong ko lang yung ies lights na ginamit mo? is that photometric ies o vray ies... kc kung photometric yan.. mas mabilis kung vray ies gagamitin mo sir.. try mo sir makikita mo ung pinagkaibahan... base sa experience ko ha... patry lang kung tama...

Hello po.. Thank you po sa mga walang sawang sumuporta at tumulong.. Problem solved I guess. Due to my carelessness na mahirap ng baguhin, heheh, I had some excess vray lights on my model na di nakikita sa scene. Probably dun sa mga merging procedures ko and I forgot to delete those lights na kasama. Anyway, many thanks again. But still, di pa rin ako satisfied sa rendertime with my rig OCed to 3.8. Pero natotolerate naman. Just wanna ask If any of you had i7 and tried OC. ask ko lang kung ano mas may benefit, A turbo boost i7 or OCed i7. I guess i'll just have to post this on another topic. Just in case any of you peeps know. thanks.
