help po from cad to 3d max

First topic message reminder :

pag nag import ako di ko makita yung object ko ano po ba ang gagawin ko dati po ok sya bigla lang nag ka ganun siguro may na galaw ako. yung gamit kung 3d max 2009.pag nag import ako ng cad model ko sa 3d max..

lahat po ng advice ko ginawa ko na po wala parin even pag reinstall.ng 3d max

ang units ko is mm sa cad tpos mm sa 3d max ang units ko.

Sagutin mo ito bro..ano cad units mo din sa max units...please check kung parehas (ex. cm-cm) kung hindi..try to make it same..puede naman hindi magkaparehas (ex. cm-m)..try mo din i-selectall din right click,object properties din change mo view.

ok.... one thing na nakikita ko is the problems with the scale. the resulting model measures approximately 369.232 m x 458.838... malaki ba ang project na ito? things to do that might solve the problem

1. check units in autocad.
2. move all models at once at 0,0 axis
3. then proceed with import procedures.
4. rescale kung kinakailangan. kung naka meter ka sa 3dmax, hit rescale then select cad incoming unit

ganito mga master sa units ok po sya sa cad is mm sa max mm din. mm yan master render,, hindi meter...wala parin no chance at all.sa tingin ko sa 3d max option yan baka may na pindut ako na diko na malayan,,..

Na-try mo na mag-change graphics bro? direct3d-openGL-software..? na-try mo din i-merge sa new max file yang max file na may problema. Sa tingin ko ang ibig sabihin ni Sir render master eh..i-change mo into meters ang cad then max to meters also.Goodluck!

lumalabas kase na masyado malaki ang model. so either or wala sa 0,0 origin ang mga model or merong isang object na kasama ng scene na malayo doon mismo sa main models, it might be a point or a line. we dont know kase hindi natin alam. malalaman mo naman kapag nag zoom all ka sa autocad.

anyway try ka ng ibang simple scene. kapag ganun pa rin, theres a problem sa 3dmax mo, kung wala naman eh iyong model na iyon ang may problema.

as per latest comment ni f-41 na try mo na ba ung Shift+S ? baka un ang sinasabi mong nagalaw mo na di mo namalayan?

flow ko din si cad to max .simple lang naman bro ang naging problema mo tama si sir rendermaster wala sa origin ang mga models mo so ang solution nyan punta sa layers mag pick ka ng isa sa mga objects mo and select then press z and enter tiyak makikita mo na yan .. i hope ganito ang problema mo .

wala parin si jumong ganun parin ang makikita mo.mga ucs lang..lahat sinunod ko na..

mga sir at mga master ganito nalang...e try nyo po mag import ng 3d model na cad sa 3d max.kahit ordinary lang na object..then kung alam nyo kung paano ma hide ang model.pero ang ucs ng object nandyan parin sa viewport kagaya na pinakita ko na mga ucs lang ang nakikita. tpos nandon parin ang layers name sa button na select by name ..masosolve ang problem.yan ang diko alam,pasikot sikot sa 3d max..diba pag nag hide tayo nag object or layer dimo na makikita ang layers sa button na select by name..salamat po in advance..

same problem before when i tried to merge an object to a scene or a pre-made object to an existing scene as my template. all the layers are there and even its located at the center of existing object in the scene. you will see the resident object/s visibly on the scene but the one you have merge are just ucs when selected but are totally invisible.

actaully i did not solve the problem per se. what i did was i just start a clean scene using file link manager and very cautious to the object/s i'm merging to my scene especially when you're merging a scene, it happen to me many times when i tried to merge a scene within a scene (or when i tried to use existing scene as my template) then afterwards i tend to delete unnecessary items on that merge scene by selecting the right layers or by windowing on an empty area where i suspected objects were present. --but its not the proper solution to the problem anyway.

nag try ka na ba ng ibang autocad files. i havent encounter the problem actually. kung same pa rin kase sa ibang files then the problem is 3d max.
or share the autocad files in here.

locate your 3dmax.ini files rename it (anyname you prefer, so you can use it later in case some trouble occured), then relaunch 3dmax and do your importing process.
