I don't think the distance matters. Positioning meaning orientation? scratch

You can still use the daylight system and substitute the standard sun into vray sun. From there you can position it in the "Setup" according to your required time of day.

vray sun is close to realistic sun. kung maxadong malapit ang sun sa x axis it will give you a sunrise or sunset effect.. try making it 45 degree or more from the x axis para po makuha nyo daylight effect. and about sa distance ng sun from the object e wala pong problema yun.. kahit napakalapit o napakalayo ng sun still magbabase parin ang intensity sa intensity setting ng sun.. o sa sun multiplier. and vray camera does a great effect in the exposure of the scene.. IMHO lang po.. hehhe.. hope nakatulong..
God bless!!

Isipin mo nalang Sun din yan. May sunrise at sunset. Kung natayo, meaning high noon yan.

Kung masyadong maliwanag, adjust mo ang intensity or yung vray physical cam. Read more on this sa tutorial section natin.

Yup ok na ang lighting mo. Sa texture ka na ngayon magconcentrate. Pwede mo ayusing ang road. Also, masyadong malaki ang vertical blinds mo. Liitan mo lang ang width at ilayo mo pa ng konti sa glass. Good luck!
