Well - I haven't seen the actual animation but looking at the frame above - I think it will need more work in the modeling and texturing departments.

First, it looks like a low-poly-planar-mapped-from-the-sides mesh object.

- Notice the textures streaking from the top.
- There is no visible attempt to randomize textures among the flock members so they all look like repititions of the same thing.
- Highlights and speculars are painted which does not give me enough visual clues to know where the light is coming from.
- I couldn't see any individual movement - they look like a bunch of stretched fish being pulled to a certain direction.

If all those areas were fixed - I bet it will look much better.

wow bangus! Very Happy Ganda nila, may animation po ba? Very Happy

Keep it up!

mr roy.. welcome to my world... hehehehhehe

musta...?? anyways, with regards to your opinion
the animation was done a long, long time a ago (5 yrs or more) and im a one-man army artist...
yeah, you right...!!! the texture was a net search low-res mapping with a UV planar....
and did a PS variation maps for specular, bump and glossiness maps, it was not painted on but more of gray scaling levels and brightness... a so called incidence angle mapping in LW was applied so it would register and/or cast unequal specularity and glossiness base on my PS map requirement....

right now, can't do anything on animation
coz i no longer locate my long time LW file...
hehehehe
thanks for droppin'
