Living Room Empty Living Room

Post by joey_23b Wed Dec 10, 2008 10:35 pm

(3rd post)

hi sir.. ur almost there.. yup u nid to work on the noises u have.
plus work on some of your materials. apply mo uvw map.

wat u mean by zero na sa vray ang settings nang noise?
try to adjst a higher value on your settings...also try to
check sa vray lights mo yung store with irridiance map.
sometimes it helps me reduce my noises.

pwd mo bang ma post settings mo? Very Happy

hope it helps...

kip em coming!!!

its nice to hear from you again, posting your work....
i suggestion to post your settings so we can easily guide you thru with the steps...

but for now, the scene is under lighted and with noises all-over
solution can be easily adjusted
adding a vraylight (plane) and place it unto the window and start with intensity of 5-10
and under vray setting under GI direct illumination parameter,
set the bounces as irrandiance map (primary) & lightcache (secondary)
and noise threshold to 0.001-0.005, color mapping from linear to exponential
and lastly, lowering the main keylight intensity casting at the window...

and if noises persist,
go to your vraylight modify tab and
crank up the subdiv from 4 to 12 or even higher
but remember render time is at stake....

enjoy... it helps you posting for more....

sir joey..ok naman ang settings nyo.
i dnt find any problem with this.
coz i usually go with the default one and adjst ko lng ang LC-lightcahce. value ko at yung basic paramters value nng IRR map ko.
regarding with your noise threshold..just try not to make it 0.0 value.
try sir dickie value. but 1st try the default one. just check on your vray lights the store irridiance map. then after that if kita mo na resulta.then play around the settings. higher value compensate the rendering time.Very Happy

for me really its not a 1 snap finger na makuha mo ka agad ang gusto mong timpla. bsta these parameters are just a 1 step ahead para sa pag explore sir... goodluck..

hope it helps...

your parameter settings are just fine, except for noise threshold value at 0.0 (wierd)
do a test render with a value between 0.001-0.005 using the crop on render type and
specify an area you need to render for fast result...

note: cranking up also your secondary bounces on GI direct illumination set 1.5 - 2.0 is also necessary for noise
reduction....

cheers Very Happy Smile

welcome po sa CGP sir! comments has been said.. my only suggestion, next time when practice make a more simple scene with lesser poly counts.. a simple room with one window will do and one simple object in the center, from there u can practice ur texturing, color bleeding, lighting intensity, shadows.. coz i think ur scene right now it really takes time to render (4hours from the print screen) especially with the VrayFur/3d carpet in it.. just my suggestion sir.. keep posting thumbsup

ng test render ako,
environment : 2,lumiwanag na ...change noise : 0.001, tpos vraylight sa window change
subdivs to 12 = marami pa ding noise....
subdivs to 20 = medyo nabawasa ang noise..

try ko maya ung 32 value =baka mawala na...

boss dikie, pano po gawin ito,"using the crop on render type and
specify an area you need to render for fast result...
"

"try ko ding i adjust ung secondary bounce sa GI to 1.5 to 2, pro ayaw po, 1 na ang max nya

"note: cranking up also your secondary bounces on GI direct illumination set 1.5 - 2.0 is also necessary for noise
reduction.... "

maraming salamat po ulit
