The whole sun behind scene. Looking at the scene, the shaded parts look okay. But when paired as a whole with the well lit areas, the disparity shows. Which is not appealing to the eyes; at all. If you really want your lightsource from the back, learn to fake it really well upfront. Don't try to get all of your illumination from that one behind the structure lightsource. You'll get burnt.

Some scale issues with your peeps... And the two leftmost seem to have sunk into the sidewalk... Unless there's a green patch there...
