Night Mode Interior
First topic message reminder :
An old scene. Done late last year, but was halted, since i was still on the process of studying about polygon modeling or furniture modeling to be exact, and was also learning to use the new tools in vray (vray camera). I finally get back to it today, and was lucky to finish it.
I modeled everything, except for the telephone and the entertainment system, which are evermotion models.
Done in max 2009+vray+PSCS3. Comments are welcome.

Re: Night Mode Interior
nice work ed, you really have leveled up your modelling skills. composition wise i like the balance of elements and the attention to detail. the proportions of the furniture are also good.
lighting wise, i think what is lacking here is the mood itself. having all those cove lights and accent lighting should have somewhat a "glow" or influence in the overall ambience in the scene. what i see now is everything still seems independent and seems like there is only one light source.
also try to use a better curtain mesh, for now it looks a bit more like a vertical blind.

Salamat sa comment sir..i've been doing max long enough, so i guess it was time to show what i have learned so far.

All comments are noted sir...as for the curtain, i was already rushing, and was so excited to post this, i skipped the details on that one.

Ah..start with learning all the tools specifically splines, and the basic modifiers, such as outline and extrude..i learned by researching on the internet. good luck sir, i'd like to learn maya too someday.

Re: Night Mode Interior
Nice nice! For me a bit farther lang yung cam para mas kita yung ottoman & side table. Love the compo & the purplish light emitting from outside.. may realism cause it matches well with the bg used. Modeling is great
