Help: Newly bought I7 930 set up crashing ????
Mga techie masters Good day po... papa consult lang po ko ng konti.. nagpabili po ko sa office nmin ng set up na pang render eto po yung specs..
-intel core i7 930 2.8 ghz
-v8 cooler master processor cooler
-gigabyte mobo (cant remember the model but theres "x58" something sa model name)
-gtx 480 video card 1.5gb
-1 tb of wd harddisk
-6 of 2 gb heatsink type memory (patriot brand)
-800 watts power supply (force brand)

Re: Help: Newly bought I7 930 set up crashing ????
why stick sa windows xp?? move on with windows 7 sayang ang bagong unit mo pag luma pa rin ang gamit mong os ...
Re: Help: Newly bought I7 930 set up crashing ????
i agree with sir edisayla. sir try not to install your licensed antivirus for trial and error troubleshooting. im not pointing the said antivirus but many issues around kaspersky e puro negative. nakakabagal din sya system, madalas manira at magpablue screen, your internet connection has been blocked by the security and updates. experiment your system sir, subukan mo iba kahit trial version lang. sa ganun mo muna kulitin rig mo tapos balitaan mo ulit kami sana makatulong sir

I won't agree with you sir .. Window 7 is one of the user friendly and very supportive OS with Windows XP native built-in so far base sa experience ko at bare in mind that Core i7 processors ay base sa bagong technology imagine ang OS mo at mga drivers mo ginawa a long time ago na wala pa ang Core i7 although gagana sya basically but you will encounters a lot of error in terms of processing ,error code messages .. and the best part the BLUE SCREEN.
try to think about it .. parang sinabi mo bumili ka ng Ferrari tapos lalagyan mo sya ng regular gasoline at panay ang ubo-ubo nya kasi d naiintendihan ng regular gasoline mo ang makina ng Ferrari.. Hope naka help.
Move on embrace the new technology its best for all.

di mo pa ata na try yung w7 bro sa tingin ko...windows 7 is way better to all of those old OS sa market. its vista and XP combine.
To TS. pre ganito gawin try mo install mo muna yung mga kailangan mo software. then saka anti virus. as what they have said change your anti virus baka dun ang problem..im using notron, magaan sa PC. nakaka ingit yung rig mo bro!!!.....gusto ko rin ng ganyan kalakas!!!

Re: Help: Newly bought I7 930 set up crashing ????
Hi, usually sa memory ang cause ng bluescreen. if you have 6gb I believe you have 3 sticks of 2gb, naka triple channel yan.
Try using only 1 stick on your ram if you still encounter restarts, sometimes switching sticks solves the problem.
Windows xp works fine on Icore7. for anti virus try http://www.avast.com , home version is free. I have been using it with no problems.
Goodluck!
