3d Max Problem with WINDOWS 7

please help me guys on how to resolve my problem regarading installation of 3dsmax 2009 using OS Windows 7 ultimate. Anyone who knows to solve this? What will i do?Hope you can help me... please inform me asap... thanks..

Make sure you disable the UAC of windows 7 before you install it, and make sure your an administrator user while installing it. hope it helps.

i have folowed the instruction turn off the UAC, finished installed but when i try to open the program here's what it says " the program can't start beacause d3dx9_26.dll is missing from your computer... what will i do sir? i have to finish the project tonight...please help me.

install DirectX 9 ... its should be in your installer kindly check it inside ..

Sometimes kailangan mo din i-run as administrator ang installation. Right click mo lang ang Installation file.

install directx 9 or higher

parang ganito din po yung problem ko mga masters. nainstall ko ung 3ds max 2009 gamit ko din po windows 7 ultimate RTM. ang problem eh kapag inopen ko na ung max ang nakikita ko sa viewports ko e ung desktop background ko. wala akong makitang grids. and hindi ko rin po ma-register ung max ko. pls help me. thanks po.
