wat da , ,, , .!! fish eye lens. .. waaaaaaahh.. galing . pang commercial mga toh.. ehe. sarap ng tulog nung isa mukhang pagod sa work, baka pasukan ng langaw. post pa sir glen,

LOL! hehe di ko sya napansin nung kinunan ko, sa monitor ko nalang nakita kanina na me natutulog pala hihi!

Nice shots sir glen..Sir may control ba yung distortion ng mga fish eye lens??Kse everytime na mag tatry ako sa store ng Fish eye lens with my camera feeling ko hindi ganun yung fish eye effect nung lens e..Just wondering lang sir.hehehe..again nice shots here.I like the first one..nakataas yung kamay mo..hehehe.. Very Happy

salamat Jeff! fixed focal length ung ginamit ko kaya ang control e kung gaano ka kalapit/layo at anggulo sa subject. yup nakataas yung camera kc ung mga unang shots medyo mabigat yung ceiling, nakuha sa trial and error. =)

hmmm..Kaya po pla.Bka kse yung mga space na kinukunan ko e malalaking area kaya di ko ma appreciate gaano yung distortion nya..Try ko ulit one time..Pag bumalik ako sa store..Dun lng kse ako nakakasubok ng mga lenses na ganun e.Kinaibigan ko na yung pinoy na salesman.hehehehehehee.Thanks ulit sir.. thumbsup

imho maganda ang fisheye for fun and creative shots kc unpredictable yung mga distortions. maganda rin sya pang record shots na di importante ang distortion kc mas malaki ang coverage nya compared sa 'ultrawide angle lenses' (10-17mm). ung nilabas ng Sigma na 180-deg hemispherical ang coverage, yan ang papalit sa 'mirror ball' pagdating sa pag acquire ng HDRI's. medyo kamahalan pa sa ngayon at di nag-stock mga suppliers dito.

para sakin ang fisheye lens ang pinakahuli na dapat bilhin. importante kc makumpleto mo muna ung range from ultrawide(10-17mm), wide(17-70mm), then telephoto(70-300mm). pero depende talaga sa need un lang e sa aking opinion. ok pa naman ang mirror ball sa ngayon pang HDRI.

yun ang maganda dito sa SG, di sila mahigpit sa mga ganyan. me mga lugar na sensitive at usually me sign na 'no photography allowed'. kung sa train, kung walang magrereklamo (gaya nung natutulog) sige lang. hwag lang ung mga kuha na 'outraging the modesty of women.' in fact me pinoy na nahuli na kumuha ng pailalim sa escalator, kakahiya.

walang anuman Odi! post mo na rin dito mga kuha mo, sali ka rin sa susunod na photo challenge. 17-50mm para sa akin ang da best pang walk-around pero kung tight ang budget kahit 50mm/f1.8 lang solved ka na! pero kung anong lens meron ka e larga na yan basta alam mo ang capacity at limitasyon. make your camera/lens work hard but not beyond their limits.

welcome Sherwin, yan ang tinatawag na 'trinity lens.' yan muna, saka na ang primes 2thumbsup kaso ang daming distraction. andyan ang upgrade from cropped frame to medium frame, o straight jump to full frame na. kaso kung nag build-up ka ng lense para sa cropped sensor, start from scratch build-up ulit pag nag full-frame. haay gastos! basta take it one-step-at-a-time at enjoy lang natin ang hobby.

here's a guide Kurdaps. kung mag uupgrade ka from kit lens to any of the trinity, make sure maximum constant aperture is f2.8 (siguradong mas mag eenjoy ka dyan w/ more creative freedom). i believe your kit lens is at f4 max (di pa constant). it doesn't matter kung 3rd party (sigma, tamron, etc.) pero syempre mas lamang pag same brand ng camera mo. ung mga primes in general are at f2.8 or larger (f2.8-f1.2). gaya ng nabanggit ni Genald, they are bokeh machines =)
