Condo Living
It's been a while since my last post here in the gallery. This was modeled in sketchup and rendered in 3dsmax 2009 Mental ray (my weapon of choice) of course.
It's inspired by our good friend's condominium which we visited last month in our vacation. Thanks for the warm hospitality.

Thanks again for dopping by master jarul.

sir just would like to explain po, in my opinion, this scene is accurate in lighting, natural light and no artificial light, shades and shadows gives us this mood and ambience, just imagine yourself under a big tree while the sun is up and shining brightly, due to the big shade the tree is serving underneath the tree would be dim, please correct me if I'm wrong. So same for this room tama po ba?

Re: Condo Living
ayus ang lighting.. pero madilim din comment ko.. if for self preference ok yan.. pero kung for client un lang madilim.. adjust siguro sa bounce light.. para mag iluminate ang indirect light ng unti..
mental ray rocks.. post din ako mental ray kaya.. hehehe

tama sir natski, looking into sir logik's work, it's a personal visualization/work, and so the achievement of realistic lighting is there. abangan ko pa mga Mental ray renders niyo mga masters!!!

hehe sir jarul, sige po wag na lang puno ang example since we are talking about a room, punta tayo sa box or kahon, lagyan natin ng opening maybe 20% of it's volume para kunyari malaking bintana, no lightbulb or any artificial lighting inside, cast the sun over it and see how it looks like inside... you can either do this for your actual experiment, or imagine lang natin sir.. hehe for healthy conversation lang po cheers sir jarul!

yung image 2 is medyo ok na yung brightness,,pero yung image 1 is medyo madilim talaga...imho

sir jarul, if you are ok with the 2nd scene, then it's all great hehe
clarify ko lang sir, wala naman ako sinabi na example ko yung tree over the room, that wouldn't make sense at all. About the opening, 20% means that even if a box is open at one side totally, ganito pa din ito kadilim at hindi liliwanag masydo unless my opening sa taas or a skylight of a room for that matter. kasi sa scene ni sir logik, obviously the sun is aiming from above in a bit of angle so the the top of the box itself or the ceiling for that matter is the one casting the shade and shadow
