Day and Night II
Share ulit - nothing fancy, NPR scenes, just 1 ies sun (no HDRI) image, and night scene done in photoshop (based on the day render :p)

hehe tnx erick. simple lang, mainspire tayo sa frontpage, tapos magbasa ng mga tutorial ni lobsang lester, photoshop mode tayo nowadays iwan ko muna ang realistic renderings :p

random sa photoshop. pero meron akong nagenerate na alpha map using a material by element modifier. i post ko rin dito how it was done.

Ito po ung process in a nutshell
it is important to generate the alpha para mas madali mag mask/color pick. i wouldnt recommend the similar option though as it may yield undesirable results. magic wand manually will do.
1. start with the day scene
2. adjust the exposure
3. adjust the curves and/or color balance
4. same as no. 3
5. using your alpha as the guide, create a base color for the openings.
6. add in some details in the retail portions.
7. same goes for the roof garden
8. continue with adding colors/details in the building windows, using the alpha map as guide
9. enhance / lighten the greens
10. enhance the lake
11. add in the point lights / tree lights
12. add in the lights in the background - finale

I must say, ang galeng nito....
considering na PS lang ung night scene.... panu yun?
pati ung mga buildings sa malayo ganda ng pagkakagawa....
nakaka-distract lang ung mga transparent boxes kase it covers almost the same area as the subject. comment rin sa low res na ground. it would have been a lot better kung hi res sya dude.

wow celes superb enviroment and render again...always love your presentation. i feel the horizon seems not matching with the model's horizon...but i think thats minimal.. i like the artistic license of putting the horizon there.
