A 2 Storey - UPDATED
Something that I dug up from my files from 2009. An unfinished work, that I decided to continue and finish. I did this one today, from start to finish. Done in max, rendered with vray, and edited in photoshop.
Comments are welcome.

Thanks..glad you liked it.

i like the design and the way ng pagkapresent ang galing din ng materials. very effective.
one thing na nanoticed ko lang is ung pagkatint ng blue... mahirap madetermine ung exact mood... i mean kung morning, noon, afternoon, sunrise or sunset ba ung lighting.

-imho lang gusto ko sana padagdagan ng some vegetation sa gilid or something pathway stone para di isolated ang model.
-i like the accent corner wood panel mo.
-render galing? HDRI ba gamit mo dito or sa ps mo na lang adjust to?
-sir gusto ko yong tree mo sa right yong palm ba yon natatandaan ko yan e.

HDRI ang ginamit ko...and some m inor adjustment in PS to get the daytime feel. I was planning on just doing a plain setup, but sir valiant get me to it, so i decided to go and use the previous photoshop setup once more.
Comment noted, thanks sir...you want the palm? just send a PM...

I like the 2nd image.Very clean. Corner window ba yung ba nasa left side? Mas maganda siguro kung wala ng mullion sa corner terminations,IMHO.

Good suggestion. Di ko pala nalagyan ng operable panel, dapat kasi sliding window yung nasa corner termination, nevertheless, maganda din yung fixed ang lahat ng parts ng corner window na yan. Salamat sir...

Maganda master arkineal, but I like the bluish tint better. You dont have to befuddle yourself about the time of day it conveys; what comes first to your mind: morning? Then morning it is. Noon? Then noon it is... And so on... Don't make it too complex; keep it simple...
Modelled in max? Gaano katagal modelling?
Hmmmm... To model in max?... To model in SU?... Decisions decisions...

Yes modelled in max...thanks for the advice. As for the modelling aspect, if there are no more editing needed, meaning the design is already there, you can finish the model in less than 3hrs...the only thing that hinders the speed, is that i am updating the design while i am modeling. With this model, i only did the perimeter walls, i did not model the partitions anymore. I also only did the windows that will be seen on camera.
I also prefer the bluish one, I just did the PS adjustment on the second image to satisfy our fellow members request..
By the way I did the lighting and cameras from scratch, just so i can get used to setting up everything when needed. Templates are for rush work only.
Thanks for dropping by.

Ouch... I design+model on the fly too... Mahirap ba pag ganoon?... I'm really veering towards SU (Bekerman/Guthrie) but a master with the same stature (siguro mas magaling pa nga eh) as those two is dissuading me from doing so. Reason is; I'm already one foot in with max whereas with SU I'll be like a newborn pup. Makes perfect sense though... Still...

Re: A 2 Storey - UPDATED
Mahirap din sir, kasi, nag iisip ako while modeling, plus, render it to see if it is working. Test renders at 800x600 minus the entourage are fast on a quad, but still, you work on textures, and stuff. Time consuming din maghanap ng textures sa archives na maganda, unless you want to use the same finishes all the time.
I'll also be a newborn pup, once i start learning to model in SU.

A days work...sa texturing ako naabala, kasi hinanap ko pa sa mga files yung bitmaps na gusto ko, tapos naghouse chores pa ako, habang nanonood ng news...syempre..andyan din ang test renders, although saglit lang test renderinga, as each would only average at less than 5 mins on low settings, and on an 800x600pixels image size, minus all the entourage.
Salamat sa pagdaan.
