Re: vray for sketchup
Hello namby_pamby! Not bad for a VrayforSU.
Here are some of my comments: ( I hope you don't mind)
IMAGE 1
render: look for a better sky background, play the colors on PS. Tweak your glass reflections or just superimpose an image using PS.
design: remove the lamp post, the mouldings in front doesn't match the character of the house without a fascia on it, less is more, minimize use of bricks(or use for accents only), remove downlight at carport,
IMAGE 2:
render: avoid tiling and use bigger jpeg images. tiling can be seen on bricks. Wooden ceiling is too much reflective, it would be better if there's a presence of "bumps" on the floor to have a more realistic feel.
design: curtain cove or "pelmet" should be proportionate to the glass window. color white pelmet or off colored material finish including the window casing, lady in bathing suit doesn't suit well on the perspective. Perhaps you would want to use a different "picture" frame instead..a bit more subtle.
IMAGE 3:
render: put bumps on the floors, use levels and curves in PS to have some depth on the perspective.
design: change the upper ceiling to color white to highlight or match the recessed wooden ceiling. Again, avoid using too much wood. Put cove lights beneath the cupboards and extend it to the ref's side. add pelmet and curtains to add more drama to the scene.
Overall, good job bro!
