Rendering By Region - Page 2 Empty Rendering By Region

Post by Norman Fri Apr 23, 2010 7:00 am

First topic message reminder :

http://www.cgpinoy.org/3d-studio-max-tutorials-f46/rendering-tips-t6118.htm

STEP 1
Rendering By Region - Page 2 RT01
1. area to render > pick region
2. render out: save file, browse nyo kung saan ese-save

STEP 2
Rendering By Region - Page 2 RT02
1. area to render > pick region, same sa STEP 1 itong area render. pero silang function so either sa dalawa pero gagalaw yan pag pinalitan nyo.
2. may lalabas na box dun sa rendering specify nyo kung gano kalaki gusto nyong e-render. in my case, 4 na part ang gusto ko.
3. >>> HIT RENDER <<<

STEP 3
Rendering By Region - Page 2 RT03
once natapos yung render

Rendering By Region - Page 2 01-4-1
first image. lumabas nga yung difference ng portion ng render(roof portion), sa tingin ko kumukuha ng info yung vray sa portion lang na na specify nyo. it means na pag natapos kang mag render sa certain part then saka ka nag move sa other part. sa susunod na part gagamit ulit sya ng info "within" its perimeter area. kaya magkaiba yung kulay or yung pagkakarender.

Rendering By Region - Page 2 02-4
second image. sinubukan kong e-save yung Irradiance map and light cache ko. then saka ako ulit gumamit ng procedure na ito. pansinin nyo nawala yung difference nya(roof area). since gumamit tayo ng pre-calculated lights yun ang gagamiting info ng vray para marender nya nang tama yung scene mo.

ito yung link how to save irradiance and light cache.

f41 bro, kita ko tuts mo render by region.. nice! just to add up para sa newbies tulad ko, I discovered from other tuts only, to do render by region accurately, you can go to:

1. Views and click Viewport Configuration below
2. Click on Regions tab
3. And adjust the numbers or size of the sub region accordingly, for instance your target size is 1000x600 image and you want to render in 4 regions, make sure that you type 500 for the width and 300 for the height (also make use of the x and y and enter accordingly the 500width and 300ht. respectively to move the region box sideways and up-down), this way you are sure that the regions do not overlap and it would be easier for you to stitch your 4 images in PS... 2thumbsup

Hope this helps! inuman na cheers pare...
