Hi there Exodus. Crashing are usually caused by insufficient memory module. I also experienced this kind of situation before. Couple of question before I give any suggestions.

- How many RAM do you have? 32 bit right?
- What size (Pixels) are you rendering?
- Are you using VFB?

Ic. That's a bit small to render. Usually the issue will arise 3000px and above. Oh well, here's my suggestion.

- Try to Proxy repeated and high poly models like plants and furnitures
- Since you are using VFB and saving Vrimg, disable your render frame (not sure what it's called)
- Also try saving your lightmaps to a separate file.
- If things really don't work, do it by region then stitch it after
- If you really really need to finish it pronto, Disable VFB and use Max's Frame Buffer.

I hope these suggestions will help you. Good luck and let me know how things work out.

BTW, I forgot to ask if you use displacements in your scene?
