GREENS (a setup comparison)
Currently working on a scene that will be loaded with trees and lots of greens. This is also an exercise in producing the new output, using the old setup that i was utilizing. So, i will be doing two sets of renders. One, using a vray camera, and another one using max standard camera.
Lighting setup will be as follows:
1. One target direct light positioned behind the camera.
2. A vray dome light, position at the back of the structure, mapped with a HDRI image.
Plus i added the same HDR image to the environment, just like what i used in my previous post.
All renders are done on a low setting for faster output.
Here are the sample output, on a clay render.
Standard camera render
vray camera render

1 minute on a standard camera, and 1:03 on a vrayphysical camera.
And i figure out by cranking up your vray environment value from one to 12 you can approximate the brightness output of your physicalcamera on a standard camera. i'll post an update later on for further inspection.
