INTERIOR: PROBLEM WITH BLACK GLOSS / MATTE

hello po!
i need an advice on two points po.. ( although baka madaming kailangan )
nahihirapan po ako sa black matte, parang di lumilitaw.. pag inedit ko sa PS nagiging feathery / blurred ang
surface ( as seen above ). any recommendation on maps and settings?

tas ung flooring po. nakikita ko ung soft bounce ng ilaw sa mga gawa nyo, pag tinry ko mag semi-matte surface ang pangit ng bounce ng ilaw,.. kaya tinodo gloss ko nlng.. ( which ate rendering time and appeal )

please help me out..

please post your settings para makita natin kung san ka magaadjust. post a screen shot of the material too. right now, mahirap magcomment sa material setup. if you want matte, just use the regular vray material or even the standard material. matte na kaagad yun.

Sir... pacheck kung tama settings ko.. to have a sharp output..
but just the right rendering time..

hindi masyado makita gloss kc wala ka bump sa maps sir.. at ung .5 na reflective gloss masyado matapang sir. gawin mo lang mga .77 para hindi masyado matapang. pag clinkick mo material. makikita mo ung gloss sa mga edges ng bump ng material.. look mo yun interior ni ni ate christine. tama etong settings na to sir same lang rin d2.

yung sharpness would be catmull rom or mitchell sa anti aliasing.

wag ka na gumamit ng medium na ir. kahit very low lang muna. then taasan mo ang hsph at interp to 80 and 40. yung lightcache mo naman, kahit 500 lang muna. i want to see the lights you used here. a rectangular vray light sa gitna + ies light would do the trick.

yung material mo naman is too dark. kahit .08 lang yung reflection or wag ka na magreflection, just use that bitmap alone, ok na.

yung floor mo naman, reflect mo lang tapos 0.9 lang sa glossiness, you will get your desired output already.

hindi mo napakita ang color mapping mo. reinhard or exponential would do. depende lang sa setup.

sa pagbrighten ng scene naman, kaya na ng vray frame buffer yan. good luck!

kailangan parin ng bump kahit flat ang actual surface?
tas pag ginamit ko po ang .65 above sa reflection lumalabas kasi ung
bounce ng ilaw na maxadong malakas..
