Question about Free Downloaded Models

eto ulit ako mga parekoy at marekoy! it is my habit to see the layers and objects first thru "h" button when i first open any downloaded models. and most of the times i see a "dummy" object on the list but when i tried to isolate it i can only see a green box. and if i tried to delete it it seems nothing happened sa object ko. (very common sa 3d people) any help guys to give some lights sa malabo kong pagkaka-intindi dito? hehehe

ang idea ko kasi sa dummy kaya andun sya is para meron kang 2 objects... one on high poly counts (original object) and the other is low poly counts (dummy) wherein pag nag-edit ka sa dummy it will be very visible sa original object pero in my downloaded model case box lang ung dummy...

up ko lang mga ka CGpeeps...

napapansin ko nga din un bro. ginagawa ko, delete ko nalang ung mga dummy. then pag nasira, hanap nalang ko ng iba. hehe.

hahaha no other workaround bro? sayang kasi ung mga model hehehe

Usually some people put dummy object as a replacement for the High-poly model. High poly model is there and displayed as a box. You can right-click the object.... Object properties....uncheck display as box....and about the Dummy? You can take it out.
