Vue views
Some cloudscape renderings I did sometime last year. I used the free version of Vue called Vue Pioneer. It's a stripped down version of their more expensive landscape modeling/rendering packages. A lot of the useful stuff has been taken out up to the point that it made the app to become almost useless. But nevertheless you can still make clouds and mountains. The only good part is, it does not expire and allows renders of up to 1920x1080 res.

Re: Vue views
Ang galing talaga ng Vue in terms of environment and atmosphere, and also the renderng engine used is not bad at all.
I really wanna use the xstream version with 3dsmax and vray.
Nice shots here sir canadium!

Thanks a lot Sir. I just scoured my hard drive for some test renders that might be worth posting. Will be posting some shortly.

Thank you Sir! Regarding sa clouds shown, these are not modeled. They are 3d objects which only show up when rendered. While working on the scene, they are shown like a kind of billboard of some sort. Vue had this menu called 'atmosphere editor' where you can add different types of clouds and adjust their detail, thickness, height, coverage, etc. There are also clouds that are 3d models which can be rotated, dragged, scaled, modified, etc. and these have 'cloud' material used which give them the fluffy look. Pero ang mga ito di ko masyado ginagamit because they don't look convincing.

Thank you Sir! That one was also my personal favorite. I tried to recreate a scene I saw while on the plane noong pauwi ako sa pinas. Dinagdag ko na lang ung moon.
Re: Vue views
Some other cloudscapes I rendered around the same time last year. On the first image, I tried to render a romantic sunset like the one seen on Titanic but it ended looking more Apocalyptic. While on the second image it's just some mountain peeking above the clouds. The third one is another above the clouds scene.

Re: Vue views
From 2007 to 2009, I worked at a company named MWH. It was here that I learned how to use Vue and why I had to use it. Sayang di ko ma-post yung mga company projects baka mayari ako. So hanggang mga test or practice renders na lang.

Re: Vue views
I was able to find some of those old vue test renderings which I thought were already lost. These were rendered using Vue 6 sometime in 2008. I missed using the full version of the software ever since I left MWH last year. I could have just downloaded a cracked version from piratebay but refrained from doing it. Maselan kasi dito sa lugar namin. Baka ma-deport ako ng di oras!

You're welcome! After that pwede mo import sa vue.
Re: Vue views
Another test rendering of Vue 6 plants done around November 2008. The trees in Vue looked horrible on close up. Only their small plants such as these ones looked nice enough.
Re: Vue views
if you want the trees to look very detail you need to use the static tree instead of using the populated ones ... i'll be posting tutorials for Vue 8 xStream for 3dsmax soon ... Thanks for the post..
