3ds max shuts down unexpectedly

good day! another help here.. nag eerror po max ko pag heavy na yun scenes.. im already using vray proxy pero ganun pa rin..

bali not enough po ung physical memory ng comp nyo para i render ung scene,, try to read this.. from sir mokong,, baka makatulong

try adjusting your dynamic memory in render settings (press F10) min 1000mb to 8000mb max as they say kung kaya pa ng pc,,,

buti sayo max lang ung nag shu-shut down...sa friend ko nag rerestart ung laptop nya...basic render settings lang ng vray ginamit namin T_T

mam ichi, try to reduce or resize mo yung mga materials mo. atleast lower than 1mb each. Place your maps in one folder only. try this "shift+t" at makikita mo yung mga mats mo then try to use "set path" for each. isa pang suggestion, try to use xref sa mga entourage mo para mas mapagaan ang files.....hope nakatulong mam

actually naminimize ko yun problem by disabling the view cube pero may time pa rin na ganun but not that frequent anymore. ill try your suggestion to totally obliterate the problem. thanks.

pg ganyan mam kailangan mo nang taasan ang specs ng pc mo, anong ba specs mo? ako rin yung scene ko pinoproxy ko lahat pati bulding at nageeror parin. ganito ang ginagawa ko pag bahay ang rinerender ko iseseperate kong irender yung bahay at ung mga landscape, entourage.. den i mi mix ko nalang sa photoshop.

my pc is quad core and 4gb ram. i dont think its with the hardware. i think mataas na rin yun specs ko.

wow taas nga ng specs,maam,it means,yong mga files mo lang ang mabibigat maam,imho lang naman.

hello.. po ako dati ganyan din problema ng max ko. depende rin po kasi sa OS at version kung 64bit or 32 bit ang gamit natin.. kung gumagamit po kayo ng 32 bit i think materials lng ang problema nyo kasi pag 32 bit naka limit lng sa 3gb ram ang usage ng max (sa pag kaka alam ko)kaya pag mataas ang setting ng mga material nyo at model mag crucrush talaga.. pero pag 64 bit naman wla ng limit.. problema lng kung 4gb ram lng kayo kakaposin po yan at least dapat naka 6Gb po kayo.. para may allowance ang max sa usage ng ram.. try nyo po mag render tapos system monitor pag pumalo ng 3gb at nag crush at naka 32 bit kayo its means mataas talaga ang setting ng ni rerender nyo pero kung 64 bit naman ang gamit nyo at nag 100% usage at biglang nag crush ram ang problema kailangan mag dagadag. yun lng sana maka 2long

mam ganyan din specs nung akin pero stable lang yung max....try reinstalling max

if you're rendering a large scale scene, you need to learn how to handle them, proxy is not enough, always check you're polygon count and the size of materials like youre bitmap resolution, you need technique's not powerful computer, if you want to render with out problem you need to learn the technique in compositing, combining part by part, would you mind sharing the scene with us? is it an indoor or outdoor? I use to render an entire city in my AMD Athlon 1.8, 2GB DDR1, WindowsXP 32bit, 3dsmax 9. Hope naka bigay din ng kunting insight.

try mong taasan Dynamic Memory Limit.. 1gig ram- 800,
4gig ram- 3500

may limit din ang max kahit naka proxy ka pa. when rendering a large scene, hindi na bago yan. learn how to optimize.

hmmm, are you by any chance zooming in and out of the preview scene while it is still rendering? this sometimes causes max to crash.
