sketchup + ruby tutorial #3

building up from sketchup + ruby tutorial #2, i want to share another ruby which is "convert arcs, circles, arc and lines to cylinder". by its title itself, it is clear than any lines can be converted into cylinder... this plugin can be downloaded and use for free at sketchucation.com (ruby category)

1. edit group and select all the model. then under tools drop down menu, click covert arcs, circles....

2. i have selected the tool and i applied 10cm diameter for my cylinders. in the same pop out command i have applied a chrome material.




so the last one now is just to add glass material. just drag the glass material, and since chrome material has beed added to the cylinders, only the default material faces will have the glass material.. that's it.

ok kung sketchup lang walang ruby, medyo mas mahirap. athough pwede but it really takes you a lot of time. with additional rubies, modelling would be easier, faster and more efficient.

that's right. same as other script used in every applications. more on programming ika nga like python sa blender3d, (dko lam sa max e ehehe.

ang alam ko lang sa ruby is more on programming....un ba un sir?di ko kasi pinapansin un pero pede bang gumawa ng model gamit ung ruby?
