im using a core2duo with 4g of ram on vista32bit. and i have over 4m of polys on my scene. tama po kau pagreduce ko ung polys mawawala ung error. malaki po ba efect pag standard gamit mo na materials pero vray ang gamit mo? 10-15% ata ng materials ko standard.panu po gumamit ng vray proxy?salamat po sa mga tulong.

Sir, nangyayari din to sa kin lalo na pag may 3d models na trees, kaya nagresearch ako about dito nagbasa ng mga articles
lalo about vray system parameter, I've got a core2duo with 3 gig ram , pero pagtinataasan ko yung dynamic memory limit from 400mb to 1000 or 2000 nag-cracrash ang max, even 600mb, ok sana pag 1000 to 2000 kasi mas mabilis magrender kaso sa after ilang minuto nag-cracrash na. yung 400 mb mabagal pero di nag-cracrash pag low setting pero pagtina-asan nag-cracrash din.

at yung tips on how to optimize yung render mo dito sa cgp trinay ko din yun. yun parin, kahit nga off na yung render window and vfb.

Thanks in advance.

that would happen if you run your applications on a 32-bit Operating System... adjusting dynamic memory limit is useless if you got high poly objects in your scene... i knew it and i tried it... 64bit OS is panoptic... no limit... and broad....

So my best option for this is to install a 64bit-os? I'm running with win7 32bit. 'Sir, about sa nasubukan nyo na. pwde po ba na ma-share nyo exp. nyo? and what are your findings.

Thanks in advance Sir erik.

ok... windows se7en 64bit is too damn fast for me IMHO (this is my bet)... initially i got windows xp sp2 32bit OS installed on my computer w/c is quite ok for average number of polys in the scene.. but if you could minimize the use of high poly objects, then go for it... but if you cant, switch to 64 bit... i encountered so many vray errors most specially when i apply so many trees on my background (exterior) even when i proxied them, then i switched to Vista Ultimate 64bit, then the problem was gone, then eventually switched to Windows Se7en Ultimate 64bit (ive got more memory now), if you saw my last post (The Residence), I rendered it for only 30mins, medium settings, for 1400x1800 resolution, w/c is pretty fast enough... this is only based on what i experienced... inuman na

Thanks Sir Erick, just a few question, Ok I have a dvd of max 09, tiningnan ko ngayon hinanap ko yung setup icon for 64-bit parang di ko makita, unhandled exception:Memory allocation failure Max

Ah. yes I saw your post the residence I even commented on your post(a 30min. bilis nga) how much ram does your machine have?

thanks in advance sir erick.

for the thread starter- nakipost na rin po ako kasi we have the same problem on crashing max. (dont mean any harm) thanks

salamat po in advance.
