I realized that I was cluttering this thread so... I decided to create one thread for whole year instead... So heres a fresh start for half of 2009...
This won First place on an offsite Mattepainting Challenge.
Created in 3 - 4 days using Photoshop only...

outstanding piece! reminds me of lord of the rings.
sabi ren ng kapatid ko parang lord of the rings.
and i like how the mountains cast their shadows on the fortress. parang hidden fortress.
at yung flowing magma balances the colors and adds to the overall mood.

master_grayback: sir gud pm, sir marami po sa internet. Google is my best friend hahaha! Pero seryoso... I think I spend at least mga 2-5 hours looking reference images. Kahit medyo pangit download ko pa rin.
