Transition from AutoCAD to Solid Edge Empty Transition from AutoCAD to Solid Edge

Post by August.An Mon Sep 07, 2020 3:11 am

Hello mga boss,

Kailangan ko lang po ng advice.
I am used to AutoCAD and been using this program since 2009.
Sa company ko po ngayon, gusto po nila ipagamit sakin ang Solid Edge which is alam ko naman na maganda din na program for designing.
My tasks in my current job is space planning bike racks, modeling and rendring bike shelters and bike racks, and sometimes specification sheets of those racks and shelters and also ironmongery and glass fittings with the use of AutoCAD and 3Ds Max (with Vray).
My question is, is it a good idea to use Solid Edge for those tasks rather than using the Autodesk programs?
I have been using the Autodesk programs for 14 years in total now since i was still in college and just starting to learn Solid Edge.
Alam ko po maganda din sa 3D modeling/rendering and Solid Edge, and simulation as well, just not sure what are to expect with the transition from one program to another.

salamat po in advance!
