Tiktik:Aswang Chronicles

The producers say that it's the best Pinoy effort so far; and the first film shot fully in green screen, locally made. Of course we can't really expect Hollywood level, but in your opinion, is it a milestone?

Best Pinoy effort? I should say yes. A milestone?... I have not seen the movie yet, but the trailers look promising.
There have been attempts in the past claiming to rival mind blowing hollywood CG fx and failed miserably.
Why? because they copied the CG characters of big budget movies (and parts of the story) and have fallen short.
There is just no way of comparing the output of a 500 man strong cg department with extremely powerful machines to a handful of motivated individuals with entry level workstations.

While we might all have varying opinions if the graphics is good enough, only one thing is certain, the creators of this movie can take pride in the fact that they have started a CG revolution in the Filipino film industry.
