vray crashes

mga master help naman po..bakit po ganun pag nagrerender ako pag tntry ko minsan evermotion models like interior and exterior may mga certain files na nag ccrash pero minsan chamba and even sarili kong gawa na ginaya ko mga settings sa net even sa evermotion nagccrash even having simple materials lang as in kahit low poly..i tried using MAX 2009,2010,2010,2012 it's still the same even VRAY 1.5 and 2.0

ilang RAM meron ka?

evermotion scenes and model? komplikado mga setting nyan an tataas pa ng mga subdivision at mostly limited lang yung view or dedicated lang sa view yung setting. Una ko ginagawa : refresh lahat ng mga system paths at ibang paths exam mga proxys bitmaps etc. gawin mo muna na default lahat lahat ng subdivision at preset sa scene. kasi minsan nakarig lang siya according sa view. lahat ng preset niya para lang sa certain na view na yun. check mo yung camera madalas nilalagyan din nila sa exposure control sa environment check mo din yun. as much as possible gawin mo default (low mid etc)lahat. yung iba gumagana naman as it is pero majority at para safe adjust mo talaga lahat. 3gRam.

ito gawin mo.. make an investigation.. open mo task manager mo para makita mo ang CPU usage at memory.. then hit render.. makikita mo yung increase niya... at certain point na malapit na siya sa maximum memory space, magka crash na iyan..

kung sa light cache preview pa lang nag crash na siya kadalasan problema diyan ay ito:
(1) you use vray light material as dome light which in fact malaki kakainin na memory niyan, vray sun + sky is enough.
(2) very high output resolution, start first at 800x600 then gradually increase if hindi sya mag crash.
(3) low memory.. you should have at least 4GB RAM & 64bit OS. to optimize your scene use proxies.

64 bit is the answer...

Try to render "no evermotion" scene. If it'll still crash, you got a pc problem. If not, it's just evermotion's heavy models.

yeah.. 64bit yung problema diyan.. kasi ganun din ang sa akin. 64 bit pero compatible yung sa akin sa 32 bit.. pero nung na change ko ang graphic options ng 3ds max sa Open GL nd na xa ngkaka crash.. go to start - all programs - autodesk 3ds max forlder - then change graphic mode.

mga master nasubukan ko na po..32bit lang po ako and RAM ko 4Gig din naman..so di ibig pong sabihin dapat graphics mode ko eh opengl hindi po direct 3d???

32-bit will only use 2Gig of RAM.. switch to 64-bit..

..do not use evermotion models muna or settings..gagapang talaga pc mo...tataas ng mga subd nun..if not OS 64-bit is the answer

pwedeng you are running out of memory kse 32 bit lang ang os mo at mabibigat na ang 3d model mo, try to convert the evermoton model into proxy para ndi kumain masyado ng memory, or pwede rin na isa sa 2 memory piece mo ay faulty memory kaya pag narea-read na ng max ang bad sector ng memory ay nag crash na ang max mo. remember 3d studio max is one of the few software na intensive memory user, kaya hindi mo alam noon na my faulty memory ka until nagamit mo ang 3d max
