nikon o canon?

ask ko lng po kung ano po yung recommended brand nyo na camera brand and model for a beginner like me. gusto ko po sana yung upgradable ang lense mostly for capturing of photos po not that match on videos. salamat and more power

Any will do. The brand will just confuse you. Trust me.

i agree with Bokkins, starter models whether nikon or canon are just about the same. but you mentioned about lense compatibility, then nikon has an advantage. pick starter models from each brand then try and feel it out in the shop. that feel will be able to help you decide which one is made for you.

since you asked I'll also suggest Nikon because I don't have any experience in other brands. Get one that you think that you'll be able to enjoy shooting.

look for the reviews mam, friend's suggestion, but still its your decision whoever you like, you got to feel it your own hands once you're there in the store...

kidding aside, i agree with everyone's suggestions. the brand doesnt matter.

a good exercise would be, look at the outputs of each brand and see which direction you really want to take your photography to.

Canon or Nikon?? they are both good....hanapin mo kung ka masasanay, kung may friend ka na may DSLR, hiramin mo muna at kahit ituro lang sayo yung features ng both brand...or better yet, Google it.

nikon,haha,,,friendly user sya,parang iphone lang madaling kausap....i have canon and nikon...yong canon parang xperia mahirap kausap,....

Just go to a store and see what fits your hand nicely, heft the weight wether is good or not. Then decide on the price, starter models are just that, they are for starters. Canon 1000D, 450D, 500d are good starter models. Hope this helps. Good luck on your purchase and welcome to the world of Photography.

just a suggestion. instead of getting a new starter model camera,
why not go for a second hand semi pro body. not the new models. like the canon 40D or d200 for Nikon for example, maybe you will find the price to be the same, but the image quality will be is way better.. cheers
