Stairway

I was inspired by one of our projects using grande-forge's "comtesse railing". So, here's my WIP. Feel free to make critique guys as i am hoping to be included on my portfolio. I do apologise for the rough renders as this is still in development in design.

I was planning to use the crema marfil marble color, but i came across a very nice pink marble. The marble inlays are composed of Darl and light emperador, nero marquina and nero portoro. I am deciding to border it with brass inlays.

nice lighting, but i guess you should go for the lighter color of the marble, cause right now it takes away the focus on your subject which is the stairway.

i agree with you yaug_03. i've been meaning to making adjustments of my composition when all the details are done. although i made initial sketches, i tend to change by feel since this is just a personal project. hehehehehe
anyway thanks for your input.

rendering wise i don't have any complaints, but to be honest - it looks nothing but an elegant stair in some rich guy unoccupied mansion.

Add drama by highlighting a certain area, a furniture, or the way the lights get in from the window...

I am sure that if you have an elegant single chair or trono somewhere on the floor, this image will provoke some positive response from the senses...

Yeah OK - apologies accepted. Next time though, make sure you say what you mean so we can avoid misunderstandings. Forums are a pain in the you know where - since I cannot see you, your posts will always be taken at face value.

Glad thats all settled and nobody's feeling hurt, let me continue my wip then.
