Create a Sphere in SU.

Create a Sphere in Sketchup for noob. (Freshly installed SU)

have you ever wonder how to create a circle in SU.
No tool to create when you start up SU. (but there's a rubicscript for this.)
Here is a simple tutorial i made for 2009 my first ever tutorial. (so pls bare with me. )
1.) Create a circle

2.) Create a straight line in the middle of the circle.

3.) Make an arc starting from end up to end point. creating a half circle. (be sure to close all end points.)

4.) Grab your follow me tool and follow the circle from the first image. up to the end point, to connect.

5.) from this point you can see the circle.

6.) Erase the trace circle. (see first image)

7.) Reverse the face.


that's it, you just made a circle. hope this help and understand it to. Good luck.

Sphere you mean bro? Thanks for shaing! with this technique, madami kagad ko naisip na shapes na pwedeng gawin. like vases and glasses ang jars. astig bro. thanks ulit.

alternatively vray has sphere toolbar. yun nayun. or use some ruby like sketchy physics that have sphere. in any case good job whey.

dagdagan ku lang ng kaunti. if you want your sphere to be smoother, you can actually use the valu control bos to indicatre the number of faces/ sides you want in creating circles and arcs.

btw ang ganda ng presentation mo sa tutorial mo. more pa bro more.....

Sir buti naman po at nagustuhan nyo ung tutorial ko, sana po nakabawi ako kahit pano sa tulong mong ginawa dun sa max displacement. tama sphere nga ata ang right term.

tama po si sir nomer pwede rin ang vray at ang sketchup physics and other rubiscript, bale this tutorial is intended po for fresh installation ng SU. (di ko lang na clear. kabado, first tutorial, hehe!) salamat po. kayo po talaga ang best pag dating sa SU. salamat po at nagusuhan nyo ung gawa ko.

then click the follow me tool then click on the halfcircle..

hehe! tama po kayo sir pwede rin palang click nalng. para mas madali. mejo nasanay lang talga ako na mag follow ng path. haha!
